Cycling and Walking
Invermoriston, Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit are all part of the Great Glen Way. There are many paths and cycle routes to suit everyone from short gentle wooded or loch side walks to the more challenging old Drove Roads.

Hill Climbing

Glenmoriston offers a central base to many of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the Highlands. Kintail, Knoydart and the Cullins to the West. The Nevis Range to the South. The Monadhliaths to the East and the Affric hills to the North.

Touring & Sightseeing
Take a cruise on Loch Ness and visit the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition at Drumnadrochit. Visit the City of Inverness, the Highland Capital and see Culloden Moor where the famous battle of Culloden took place.

Other Activities
There is pony trekking at Borlum Farm, Drumnadrochit and the Great Glen Water Park near Invergarry offers a large range of water sports. Fishing is available on a number of the local rivers and hill lochs and Glenmoriston offers an abundance of wildlife and scenery which would appeal greatly to the keen birdwatcher, nature lover, photographer and artist.

Rest & Relaxation
Which ever direction you decide to go there is plenty to see and do. Of course, if you just want to get away from it all and completely relax, then Binnilidh Mhor is a perfect and peaceful Highland Hideaway.
